Kalel Winston is a true creative spirit. Born and raised in Brooklyn, NY, he grew up as a true city kid, exposed to arts, culture and theatre.At an early age, Kalel showed a nature instinct for music and learned to play his first string instrument at 5 years old. He attended the prestigious Waldorf School where he studied and performed a repertoire of Shakespearean plays as a member of the drama ensemble. Kalel is also a member of the renowned Brooklyn Youth Chorus, as countertenor.Currently in his senior year at The Brooklyn School of the Arts, as a double major in drama and music, Kalel intents to pursue his artist passions professionally.
